Inverlochy Art School are having a series of art showcases to share the work produced in classes. It’s a nice relaxed atmosphere, and a great opportunity to show some work that wouldn’t otherwise be seen. These are the “working” pieces, the times of working out colour palettes, and exploring different subject matter.
The group at Inverlochy has been so useful to me as a safe place to explore, have guidance when needed, and otherwise use the facilities as a shared open studio. Huge shout out to Sarah Brock, who has the fantastic ability to cater her tutoring style to each student - I feel like I’ve learned as much from her about creative coaching as I have about mixing colour (which is an awful lot!)
This was also the first opportunity to exhibit the collaboration piece that I did with Sean Fleming - I painted the landscape and he painted the deer.
